Paul's New Camera

In 2004 we went on a trip to Italy. So we bought a Sony DSC-T1, an impresively small camera (smaller than a deck of cards). It is a 5 mega-pixel camera with a large 2.5" screen on the back. In daylight it takes great pictures but in low(er) light it doesn't do so well. As an aside, it was with the DCS-T1 that Paul filmed "The Fur King" and "Spicer Castle Bed & Breakfast"

So Paul convinced himself he needed a new camera (not wanting to miss any special moments with Sammy in the evening that should be caught in a picture). He called his brother and quickly came to the conclusion that for a "nicer" camera he'd go with a digital SLR. That way he can buy lenses as he wants and when he upgrades the body (years from now), he already has the lenses. Since his brother David has a Nikon D50 Paul decided to get the same thing. So off to Best Buy Paul went (Wal-Mart does not carry this camera!).

Armed...er...equipped his new toy, Paul took a few pics of Michele, Sammy, and his niece Ana and nephew Noah today.

Michele and Sammy enjoying each other.

Sammy...our pride and joy

Ana...always full of smiles.

Noah smiles alot too...
....but Paul liked the expression in this one.
