SouthDakota2008: Day 2 - Devil's Tower

On our first whole day in South Dakota we went across the border to Wyoming to see Devil's Tower National Monument. We were greeted by cold air and gusty wind. The sky was clear though and we had a marvelous time.

The night before, Grant, Liz, and Doug put a can of beans under Anne's air mattress. She slept without knowing it. Her status as "princess" is now in doubt. As, if she can't tell that a can of beans is under her mattress, how can she tell if a single pea is there?

Michele and Sammy were still back east at the funeral.
